Hi there! My name is Steven Shelestowsky, a fourth-year computer engineering student at the University of Guelph. I am passionate about building software and hardware solutions that make an impact. I enjoy working in embedded systems development, digital logic design, and software engineering.
Throughout my academic career, I have gained hands-on experience in digital and analog design, real-time operating systems, and wireless sensor networks, on top of software engineering fundamentals.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I have led the IEEE Student Branch at the University of Guelph, where I have developed my leadership skills and met many other passionate individuals from across Canada. I have also taken on a role within the Guelph Engineering Society as a fourth-year academic representative.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the arts through photography and music. I enjoy spending time outdoors and going on hikes. I also enjoy developing software solutions that solve real-world problems, such as the Niagara Bridges app. All personal and academic projects that I have worked on can be found in the Portfolio section of this website.
I also enjoy writing, whether it be music or personal reflections. You can find the latter in the Writings section of this website.
If you are interested in collaborating or learning more about me, please feel free to reach out through one of the links above. I look forward to chatting with you!
